How to register — a simple guide

Eight steps, in plain language, with pictures. If you get stuck anywhere, our contact details are at the bottom.

Before you start, have these ready

  • A recent photo of your face (like a passport photo) saved on your phone or computer.
  • Your mobile number and email address.
  • Your ESK membership number, if you have one.
  • About five minutes — the form is short.
  1. Go to the website and click "Register"

Open the ANCE 2026 website. Near the top of the page, and again further down, you will see an orange button that says "Register now". Tap or click it.

  2. Fill in your details

    You'll be asked for:

    • Delegate category — choose the one that describes you (for example, Full Member or Speaker).
    • Full name — exactly as you want it printed on your certificate.
    • Mobile number — a working number ESK can reach you on.
    • Email address — your ticket will be sent here, so make sure it is typed correctly.
    • Membership number — only if your category needs one; the form will tell you.
    • Organisation — pick yours from the list. If it has departments, a second box appears so you can choose yours too.
    • County — where you are based (or "Outside Kenya" if you are not in Kenya).
  3. Add your photo

This photo is printed on your badge, so choose a recent, clear photo of your face — like a passport photo. Plain background, no sunglasses or hat, looking at the camera. After you choose it, you can drag it into position and use the zoom slider until it looks right — the preview on the page shows exactly how your badge will look.

  4. Agree and submit

Tick the box confirming your details are correct, then press "Submit registration". Please be patient for a few seconds while your photo uploads.

  5. Save your reference number

You will see a page with your reference number, like ANCE26-XXXXXX. Write it down, screenshot it, or keep the page open — you will need this number, together with your mobile number, any time you want to check your registration.

  6. Pay the Economists Society of Kenya

There is no payment on the website. The conference fee is KSh 55,000. Pay ESK using either of the methods below, and use your reference number as the payment reference so it can be matched to your registration.

    • Bank transfer — Account name: Economists Society of Kenya. Account number: 01134616637300. Bank: Co-operative Bank of Kenya, Co-operative House. IFMIS number (government MDACs only): 944712.
    • M-Pesa Payment — Paybill number: 4224644. Account number: your ESK membership number if you have one, otherwise your National ID number.
    • Keep your own proof of payment — ESK Finance may ask for it when confirming your registration.
  7. Wait for your ticket

Once ESK Finance has confirmed your payment and the event team has approved it, you will get an email with your ticket attached as a PDF. This can take a little time — you do not need to do anything except wait, or check your status (see below) if you are curious.

  8. Bring your ticket each day

Your ticket has a QR code on it. It is scanned at the entrance every day of the conference, 5th to 9th October. You can print it, or simply show it on your phone.

Checking your status any time

Go to Check status and enter your reference number and mobile number. You'll see whether you're still waiting on payment, waiting on approval, or fully confirmed.
